Tha Gàidhlig air a thairgse mar chuspair do sgoilearan a fhuair an cuid fhoghlaim tro mheadhan na Gàidhlig sa bhun-sgoil agus do luchd-ionnsachaidh. Don fheadhainn a tha fileanta ann an AS1 gu AS3, bidh an cùrsa ag amas air na ceithir sgilean sgrìobhadh, leughadh, labhairt agus èisteachd a leasachadh. Faodaidh sgoilearan an uair sin a' leantainn orra le cùrsaichean Nàiseanta 3/4/5, àrd-ìre agus sàr àrd-ìre. Tha Eaconamas Dachaigh air a thairgse tro mheadhan na Gàidhlig ann an AS1 agus AS2.
Tha Gàidhlig cuideachd air a thairgse do luchd-ionnsachadh far an dèan gach sgoilear Gàidhlig anns a' chiad agus an darna bhliadhna. Faodaidh iad an uair sin cànan a thagh anns an treas bliadhna. Tha cultar na Gàidhlig na phàirt cudromach de na cùrsaichean uile far am bi sgoilearan ag ionnsachadh mu litreachas, ceòl, na meadhanan agus eachdraidh na Gàidhlig

Welcome to our Gaelic department page at Tain Royal Academy.
Gaelic is offered to pupils who have been educated in Gaelic at primary school and who are fluent in Gaelic as well to learners of the language. For the fluent speakers, the course in S1-3 aims to develop the four skills; writing, reading, talking and listening. At senior level, pupils can study Gaelic at National 3/4/5, higher and advanced higher level. Home Economics is also offered through the medium of Gaelic in S1 and S2.
Gaelic is also offered as a subject to learners for all pupils in S1 and S2. In S3, pupils can choose which language they would like to take. Gaelic culture is an important element of all the courses where pupils learn about literature, music, media and history.
